Once we were in darkness;
Disobediant, unwise.
Dead to Life in Abundance;
Exchanging Truth for lies.
Then we heard of Jesus:
His love, His truth, His might!
And by the gospel of the Glory of Christ,
Now we walk as Children of the Light!
Wake up, O Sleeper!
Rise from the dead!

This is what God said.
